The opportunity:

We are looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused Talent professional to join our Isle of Man HR team.

 

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting recruitment activity, talent initiatives and employee development programmes across the business. Working closely with colleagues, managers and our UK Talent Acquisition team, you'll help deliver an outstanding candidate and employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within an HR, Talent Acquisition or recruitment environment.
  • A CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering a great employee and candidate experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to respond positively to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Confidence working independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professionalism, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

 

What you'll be doing:

Recruitment Support

  • Act as the local point of contact for recruitment and talent acquisition activities, working closely with our UK Talent Acquisition team.
  • Respond to recruitment-related queries and monitor onboarding activity, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Coordinate and administer internal recruitment processes, secondments and development opportunities.
  • Organise and facilitate employee induction programmes.
  • Coordinate immigration-related recruitment administration where required.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the interview process, including participating in interviews where appropriate.
  • Help ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

 

Learning and Talent Management

  • Support the delivery of talent, learning and development programmes to help employees grow and achieve their potential.
  • Coordinate talent review activities and support succession planning processes by working closely with managers to understand talent requirements.
  • Provide administration and coordination support for professional qualifications, study contracts and related policies.
  • Manage learning and development invoices, grants and associated administration.
  • Support administration of the mandatory learning platform, including learner enrolment, completion monitoring and responding to training-related queries.
  • Track and report on learning and development activities where required.

 

Pensions Administration

  • Support the administration of new member pension enrolments and associated documentation.
  • Assist with monthly pension administration processes and respond to ad hoc queries.

 

Generalist HR Support

  • Support the HR team by responding to and resolving routine HR queries from managers and employees, escalating where appropriate.
  • Represent Zurich at external careers, recruitment and talent events.
  • Administer the quarterly employee recognition programme.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide broader support across the HR function as required.
